Natural remedies for acne

AcneAcne is a very common disturbance of the skin during the teenage years and very traumatic for many teens because it comes with hormonal changes, just as a good physical appearance is important to many for your self esteem. Here are some natural and effective remedies for teenage acne :

Aloe: Use gel or aloe edge juice to fight infection and promote healing. Apply the ointment on pimples and wounds.

Apple cider vinegar / lemon juice : clean the skin and apply juice or vinegar lemon apple cider with cotton. The acid in these home remedies helps clear pores and gives the skin a gorgeous look. The vinegar acts as an astringent and helps remove excess oil, kills bacteria and normalizes skin pH. This remedy should work soon.

Basil: for acne that has not responded to other remedies, put 2-3 teaspoons of dried basil leaves in a cup of boiling water and steep for 20 minutes, let cool, apply with a cotton ball on the affected area.

Carrot juice : contains essential oils that help the carrot juice will slow digestion and acne.

Cucumber: blending a peeled cucumber in a blender and apply the juice on the acne. Another variation of this remedy is to drink 4-5 cups of cucumber juice daily for one week. It is said that purifies the blood and lymph systems, resulting in a fair complexion.

Egg whites : thoroughly clean the skin and apply on it the egg whites with cotton, so leave several hours. The egg is an astringent.

Grapefruit seed extract : This extract is a powerful comprehensive antimicrobial product and an excellent disinfectant. Prepare a solution of 4-40 drops in 118ml of water (1/ 2 cup) and apply on the affected areas with cotton wool two or three times a day.

Lemon juice : apply freshly squeezed lemon juice on the affected area or cotton. Wash off in the morning.

Neem Oil : neem ( Azadirachta indica) is highly valued in Ayurvedic medicine for its varied with healing properties : antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral. For acne, apply a cream neem oil (2% ) on the affected area. Neem oil can also be used by mixing 1 tablespoon with 1/2 cup of a carrier oil such as almond or olive oil and apply it on the affected area with a cotton swab or area. If you have very sensitive skin or irritation occurs, dilute take oil in more amount of base oil.

Oats: as for measles and other skin irritations, oatmeal has always been used to combat acne. Apply cold porridge across the face for 15 minutes, then rinse. Oatmeal is an astringent and seems clean grease and impurities from the skin, keeping clear skin without blemishes. This method can take one or two weeks to take effect, but it should give good results.

Hamamelis : the morning cleaning the skin with a mild cleanser. If you have oily skin, rub the whole face with a cotton ball soaked in witch hazel. Witch hazel is an astringent and will help dry skin and reduce pimples.

Tea Tree Oil : derived from the leaves of the tree Melaleuca alternifolia Australian origin, contains antiseptic compounds that are a very effective skin disinfectant. Depending on severity of acne d ela, 5-15% use solutions twice daily.
